The sparrow is a very resilient and prolific little bird and can be found around the globe. Archaeologists have found their remains dating back thousands of years in the Egyptian pyramids. It is apparent that these cunning little birds figured out that where there was man, so was food and shelter. Making a quick pit stop on the ledge of a Tuscan window, this little guy is on his way to feed on the local sunflower crops and the local cuisine.
I do not remember a time I was not creating art. When I was a little girl, I was always the first in my family to awaken and it was in those early morning hours I would immerse myself in my art. As you can see from my work, I also love animals. Art and animals have always been my tightly intertwined passions. Despite my artistic nature, I found myself in the corporate world for many years.
